Fall Patient Satisfaction Survey Results
Methodology: Current oxygen patients of Blue Dot Medical were polled in the month of September and asked 6 questions regarding their level of satisfaction with our staff and services provided.
Polling Strategy: This customer segment has traditionally been adverse to answering any sort of telephone survey. With this in mind, a simple six question survey was designed to measure three distinct areas of our business: Quality of Delivery Staff, Quality of Office Staff, and Overall Customer Satisfaction. Patients were asked to rate the services of Blue Dot on a scale from 1 to 5, 1- being poor, 2- Meeting Needs, nothing more, 3 - Average, 4 – Very Good, 5 - Excellent. (Most all surveys were completed after Hurricane Katrina)
Patient Sampling: A total survey goal of 50% of patients was established as an overwhelming statistical sample of the product group. All oxygen patients were called and invited to participate in the survey. Sample size was easily obtained, with sampling size at almost 75% of patient base.

During last years survey of customer satisfaction levels within our oxygen patient base, we were pleased to hear a large percentage of patients mention some gratitude to their physician or nurse for referring them to our organization. This year we added a question regarding this issue, and all but two patients noted that our level of service was definitely a positive reflection on the physician/clinic that made the referral.
