The eSWALLOW Story

While eSwallow is a new company founded in 2008, the founders are not new to NMES therapy.  Bill and Nancy Ingram, founders and owners of eSwallow USA, were part of the original team that broughtBillingram e-stim technology to the attention of speech therapists all over the country.

As part of the original Chattanooga Group, they were the distributor for the states of Alabama and Georgia.  The Ingram's spent the better part of six years helping get Marci Freed's bold new technology accepted as a treatment modality for Dysphagia.

Nancy is a former social worker and is elated to be part of a team helping patients recover from such a horrible experience.  She and Bill talked with hundreds of speech pathologists over the years and listened to their suggestions on how to improve the quality of the electrodes, as well as improve communications between researchers and the therapists in the field.

After persevering through many buyouts and changes in the companies' business model, they decided they could better serve the industry and the growing number of dysphagia patients by putting their ideas into action. They formed eSwallow USA.  Taking all the suggestions that had been accumulated from speech therapists in the field and selecting what they believed to be the very best electrode manufacturing company in the USA, PMI, they went to work and the result is our new eSWALLOW electrode.

Blue Dot Medical, Inc. is proud to be the distributor of eSWALLOW electrodes for Mississippi, North Louisiana, and Arkansas. Thank you for visiting our site and call us today for an on-site presentation.
